PM Nawaz Sharif inaugurated Multan Metro Bus project


Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif finally inaugurated the prestigious project of the Punjab government, Multan Metro Bus Service in Multan today. The Multan becomes third city in the country province and in the country to have this service. Metro Bus Service is already serving the people of Lahore and twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The Punjab government completed the 28 billion rupees project on schedule. Metro bus track is 18 kilometers long with having 21 stations in total. The buses will carry the passengers from Kumharanwala Chowk to Bahauddin Zakariya University on Bosan road. Around 97,000 people will travel on Metro Bus daily.

This is such a first mega transport project undertaken in South Punjab. The Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Governor Punjab Malik Rafique Rajwana, veteran politician Javed Hashmi and other dignities were also present at the occasion.
