PML-Q gives one week deadline to PTI government




Important ally of PTI government- PML-Q gives one week deadline to the government delegation for addressing its issues and reservations. PML-Q delegation told the government team that if pTI government failed to address its demands than it will chalk out the next line of action. PTI government is in under pressure to fulfil the demands of its allies. 

 PML-Q leadership told the PTI delegation consisting of CM Punjab Usman Buzdar- senior leader Jahangir Tareen and Defence Minister Pervez Khattak.  While PML-Q delegation comprised senior leader and federal minister Ch. Tariq Bashir Cheema- Ch. Moonis Elahi -Ch. Salik Hussain and Hussain Elahi.

PML-Q has serious issues with the transfer and posting of the police officers and other officials in the districts where PML-Q has a presence. Both sides signed an agreement after the general elections of 2019. Now PML-Q is pushing the government to implement the agreement. 

PML-Q is complaining that in violation of signed agreement- the officials in constituencies of PML-Q leaders are being transferred without its consultation. The second complaint is regarding the intervention in ministries of PML-Q leaders. Third issue is the release of development funds for PML-Q leaders. PML-Q wants a clear directives to bureaucrats to fully implement the agreement.  

The Q-team also communicated a message of PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and the Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervez Elahi to the government that Moonis Elahi was not interested in becoming a minister or chief minister.
