Legend Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan and his son infected with COVID-19

Both have been shifted to a Mumbai hospital 

Bollywood living legend Amitabh Bachchan and his actor son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 and were shifted to the hospital. Both of them were having mild symptoms, according to Indian media reports.

The legendary actor said that the test results of his family and staff are awaited. "All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested," he said.

According to Indian media, he has been taken to Nunavut hospital in Mumbai where his condition is said to be stable.

Amitabh Bachchan has tweeted that;

“T 3590 -I have tested Covid positive. Shifted to Hospital… Hospital informing authorities… Family and staff undergone tests, results awaited. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!”

While Abhishek Bachchan has also tweeted about his positive result;

“Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms and have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.”
