More than 100 million voted in early voting

California is leading with 12 million early votes

Over 100 million votes have been cast as Americans come out to vote on Election Day on November 3 during US elections 2020.

According to US elections Project, 100,298,838 votes have been cast with 35,733,103 in-person votes and 64,565,735 mail-in ballots.

Voters in California have voted in large number with over 12 million votes cast with over 9 million voters having cast their ballot in Texas.

In Florida, over 8.9 voters have cast their ballot.

In North Carolina, over 4.5 million votes have been cast. In Ohio, over 3 million voters have cast their ballot.

Early voting nationwide is far outpacing previous elections, driven by concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.

A record 3.4 million Ohio voters cast absentee ballots or voted early in person, according to Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose. With 243,023 absentee ballots still outstanding, Ohio’s early vote total is already 180% of the previous early vote record and equals 60% of the total votes cast in the 2016 general election, his office reported.

As of late Monday, the U.S. Elections Project reported 98,440,077 million votes have been cast, or 71.4% of the total votes counted in the 2016 general election.
