2nd test-Australia declares first innings at 556 for 9 wickets on third day morning

Pakistani bowlers toiled hard for more than two days on slow and lifeless Karachi wickets 

Australia declared its first innings at 556 for the loss of 9 wickets on a lifeless slow wickets. Usman Khawaja scored brilliant 160, Alex Casey 93 and Steve Smith 72 runs. Faheem Ashraf  and Sajid Khan took two wickets each.  Australia resumed first innings from the overnight score of 505 runs for 8 wickets on the third day. Shaheen Afridi dismissed Starck  without adding any runs to his overnight score of 28. 
Pakistan was hoping to wrap up the Australian innings very soon but Australian captain Pat Cummins scored quick runs to race to 556 for 9 wickets. He attacked Pakistani spinners and hit three sixes. He declared the innings after hitting a massive six on the bowling of Sajid Khan. Shaheen Afridi took the only wicket that fell on third day morning.
