England defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets in the first T20 international

 England chased down the target of 159 runs with the loss of 4 wickets in the 20th over

England defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets in the first T20 International at National Stadium Karachi to take 1-0 lead in the 7 match series. Pakistan scored 158 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Muhammad Rizwan scored 68 runs, Babar Azam 31 and Iftikhar Ahmad 28 runs. English bowler Luke Wood took three wickets and Adil Rashid 2 wickets. 

The England chased down the target of 159 runs in the 20th over at the loss of 4 wickets. Alex Hales top scored with 53 runs while Harry Broaks  scored 42 runs. Usman Qadir took two wickets while Haris Rauf and Dahani took one wicket each.  England has taken 1-0 lead in the 7 match series. 

Pakistani middle order once again failed to capitalise the good opening stand between Rizwan and Babar.
