England defeated Pakistan in the 7th T20 international by 67 runs

 England won the seven match series 4-3 as Pakistani middle order failed again

England defeated Pakistan by 67 runs in the series decider 7th T20 international at Qaddafi Stadium Lahore yesterday. Pakistan failed to chased down the target of 210 runs. England won the series 4-3. England scored 209 runs for the loss of three wickets in 20 overs. Pakistan could only manage to score 142 for 8. The cricket fans were expecting a close and interesting match but it proved to be once sided affair dominated by England. Pakistani cricket team once again disappoint the cricket lovers with poor performance.  

Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first.  England batters wreaked havoc on Pakistan bowling attack. Though they lost early wickets on regular intervals, still they maintained over 10 runs plus average right from the start. David Malan was top scorer for England with 78 runs not out. Harry Brook scored 46 runs not out. Ducket scored 30, Salt20 and Alex Hales 18 runs.  

Everything went into disarray in an instant for Pakistan with the early wickets of Captain Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan in the first two overs. Pakistan openers’ loss in this match also exposed the middle order preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Shan Masoud scored 56 runs his second fifty in the series. Khushdil Shah scored 27 runs and Iftikhar Ahmad 19 runs. No other batsman entered into double figures. The middle lower order once again put up disappointed performance.    

English bowlers Chris Woakes had three wickets for 26 runs while David Willey got two for 23 runs and Reece Topley, Adil Rashid and Sam Curran shared one apiece.
