83 percent Pakistanis think unemployment has worsened in the last six months

 More than 60 percent people feared that the job market would worsen in the next six months-new survey revealed

Overwhelming majority of Pakistanis (83%) think that unemployment has worsened in the last six months, according to the Consumer Confidence Index Quarter 03, 2022 by Gallup Pakistan and Dun & Bradstreet. Over 2,000 people from across the country took part in the survey, conducted in the second quarter of 2022.

Over 10 percent people said unemployment had decreased while 6 percent believed the situation was unchanged. About 1 percent respondents did not reply. Over 60 percent people feared the job market would worsen in the next six months. However, 18 percent hoped the situation would improve, while 23 percent believed the situation would remain the same.
