Another big relief for Imran Khan as IHC grants two weeks bail to him

Islamabad High Court provided relief to Imran Khan in Al-Qadir Trust case

Islamabad High Court provided big relief to Imran Khan in Al-Qadir Trust corruption case today.

A two-member "special division bench" of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday granted PTI Chairman Imran Khan a two-week protective bail in the Al-Qadir Trust case. IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq had formed the “special” bench comprising Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz to hear Khan's bail plea.

The Supreme Court, a day earlier, directed Khan to appear before the IHC today declaring his arrest this week that triggered deadly clashes across the country "unlawful". Imran Khan was ordered to remain in the bench's custody under police protection for his own safety until his court appearance today.
