Tories lead over Labour shrink to just 16 points


A You Gov poll shows that Tories lead over Labour shrink to just 16 points. Last week this lead was 23 points. Labour has narrowed the gap with their rival Conservatives 6 weeks before the June 8 general elections.

Prime Minister Thresa May announced  snap elections in a surprising move to get the fresh mandate from the electorate to negotiate the tougher conditions for Brexit. Thresa May invoked article 50 to start the formal process to leave the European Union.

At the moment, Tories are expecting to win the elections with even bigger margin. But resurgent Labour party under Jeremy Corbyn expecting to show better results then the media projections.
