Thousands of Palestinians protested in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners

Thousands of Palestinians took to streets across the territory in solidarity with hundreds of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons. The Prisoners have been on hunger strike since April 17 against bad conditions. The Prisoners are demanding better conditions in the prisons.

The Israeli occupied forces used tear gas, rubber bullets and live bullets to disperse the Palestinian protestors near the security walls separating Gaza and Jewish settlements. Nearly 40 people got injured in both Gaza and West Bank in the clashes with Israeli occupied forces.

Israel has announced to build more settlement in the occupied territories. Israeli government has embolden since the election victory of Donald Trump as US president. Trump has announced to move the US embassy to Jerusalem.
