Kashmiris observe complete shutdown in Indian occupied Kashmir


The Kashmiri observed complete shut down in Indian Ocuupied Kashmir against planned abrogation of article 35A of the Indian constitution. The Indian government wants to change the protected status of the Kashmir. The government wants to allow the settlement of non_kashmiri Hindus to convert the Muslim majority in the valley into minority. The BJP government in India also wants to abolish the article 370 of the constitution to end the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.

 The forceful demonstrations took place Friday in Srinagar, Budgam, Sopore, Islamabad, Bijbehara, Kulgam, Pulwama, Tral, Shopian, Pattan, Hajin, Bandipore and the other areas of South Kashmir against the killing spree by Indian troops.

Protesters raised pro-freedom, pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans. Pakistani flags were also waved at various places.

Indian police resorted to brute force on the protesters in many areas, injuring several of them. The puppet authorities continued to put Hurriyet leaders including Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mukhtar Ahmed Waza under house arrest or in custody to stop them from leading the protests.
