NA-249 Karachi bypolls- PML-N leading in the early results

 PTI candidate trailing at 6th place while PPP is closely behind


According to unofficial early results of 47 polling stations, PML-N candidate Miftah Ismail is leading in NA-249 Karachi bypolls. He has bagged 4548 votes so far.  His close rival is  PPP candidate Qadir Mandokhail with 3317 votes. Mustafa Kamal of PSP is at third place with 1577 votes. The close contest is going on between PML-N and PPP candidates . It was expected that the real contest will be between PML-N and PTI but early results are showing different trend. PTI candidate is trailing at 6 th position in the results of 47 polling  stations.
Mufti Nazeer Kamalvi of banned TLP is at fourth place with 1146 votes. MQM-P candidate Hafiz Mursaleen is at fifth spot with 972 votes. 
Surprisingly PTI candidate is trailing at sixth place with just 952 votes.  There are total 276 polling stations in the constituency. This seat was won by PTI candidate Faisal Vawda in 2018 elections against PML_N president Shahbaz Sharif with a narrow margin of 715 votes. 
The turn out remained very low in the constituency. At sum polling stations the turnout was as below 5% .
