PTI wins 60, PML-N 59, Independents 55 and PPP 17 seats in Cantonment Board elections

PML-N emerged leading party in Punjab, PTI in KPK while PPP in Sindh 


According to the unofficial results of all the 212 wards of Cantonment Board  elections 2021, PTI has one seat lead over its closet rival PML-N. PTI has won 60 seats while PML-N has won 59 seats. The independent candidates are at third spot with 55 seats. PPP has managed to won 17 seats. MQM wins 10 while JI wins 07 seats. ANP and BAP also won two seats each. 
PTI has performed poorly in all the major cities of Punjab except Gujranwala. PTI also failed to perform well in Peshawar where it won just one seat out of five seats. PPP has won two seats and ANP one in Peshawar Cantonment. 
PTI has lost in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Taxila and Wah cant, Sialkot, Bahawalpur, Multan, Okara and Sargodha. PTI won in Jehlum, Kharian and Gujranwala cantonments in Punjab. The shocking defeat in  North Punjab is a big political set back for PTI as it dominated the region in 2018 general elections. PTI wins in Banu, Kohat, Dera Ismael khan, Nowshera and Abbotabad cantonments while losing Peshawar and Mardan. 
PTI also done better in Karachi and wins 13 seats. 
PML-N  has dominated Punjab and wins 51 seats. independents wins 32 seats while PTI wins 28 seats. 
The results shows that PML-N is still the most popular party in Central and North Punjab. PPP has failed to win a single seat from Punjab. 
PPP has won 14 seats in Sindh. While PTI has won 13 seats, JI 05 and PML-N 03 seats.
