Australia trounced England by huge margin of 275 runs in the second ashes test

England batting collapsed again in the chase of  huge target of 468 runs-Australia took 2-0 lead in the five match series

Australia humiliated England again in the second ashes test at Adelaide Oval. Australia outplayed England second time in the series.  Australia won the 2nd Ashes test with a huge margin of 275 runs. England once again showed pathetic performance both with bat and ball.
England batting collapsed again in the 2nd innings and bundled out at 192 runs by brilliant Australian bowling. Chasing a daunting victory target of 468, England were all out for 192 in the final session of the pink-ball contest.

Aussies batting first declared their innings on 473 and England got out on 236.Labuschagne scored century (103) Warner 95and Smith 93 helped Australia to post 473 in the first innings. David Malan scored 80 and Joe Root 62 runs in the first innings of England and put up some resistance.  Aussies declared their second innings on 230 and then bowled out England on 192 to win the match by 275 runs.

Marnus Labuschagne was awarded with the player of the match award for his amazing century in the first innings followed by the half century in the second.

Chris Woakes’ 44 was the highest individual score in England’s abject second innings batting display, while Jos Buttler frustrated Australia for a while with a dogged 26 off 207 balls. Jhye Richardson was the pick of the Australian bowlers, claiming 5-42.

Australia has proved its much better side in both test matches. England needs to lift itself to play competitive cricket against Australia.

England once again made selection mistakes. England rested spinner Jack Leach and, on a track where his Australian counterpart Nathan Lyon picked up five wickets, skipper Joe Root ended up bowling 26 overs himself while fast bowler Ollie Robinson also switched to off-spin.
