Upholding the spirit of democracy

Parliamentary democracy is a combination of constitutionalism, traditions, laws and democratic spirit

Democracy needs tolerance. It is all about accommodating the different views and ideologies. Parliamentary democracy is based on constitution, parliamentary traditions and democratic norms. When majority tries to bulldoze the minority through its majority muscle and ignores the constitution, rules and traditions then it undermine the democracy. Without having democratic spirit, democracy is like a body without a soul.
