Fazal Maula of PTI wins PK-7 Swat by poll with the margin of 2,700 votes

PTI candidate Fazal Maula bagged 17393 votes while ANP candidate Hussain Ahmad Khan secured 14683 votes

According to the unofficial results of all the 124 polling stations of PK-7 Swat, Fazal Maula of PTI wins the seat with 17393 votes. ANP candidate Hussain Ahmad khan bagged 14683 votes and finished second.
The PTI wins the by poll with the margin of nearly 2,700 votes. PTI won this seat with the margin of nearly 6,000 votes in 2018 general elections but lost the by poll in October 2018 with a narrow margin of 300 votes.
This seat fell vacant due to sudden death of ANP MPA Waqar Ahmad Khan. Waqar Khan won this seat in the by- elections held in October 2018. He defeated Fazal Maula of PTI.

So the PTI regained the seat from ANP. Fazal Maula finally takes his revenge of his defeat in 2018 by poll.
But the margin of victory is not as convincing as PTI was expecting. it was a close election. The PTI has the advantage of its provincial government and CM KP also belongs to Swat district. ANP accused the provincial government for using official resources to lure the voters. the PTI government in KP released millions of rupees funds to undertake the development work in the constituency.
