Islamabad High Court grants bail to PTI leader Shahbaz Gill in sedition case

 Dr Shahbaz Gill was arrested by Islamabad police on sedition charges after he made provocative comments in a news talk show 

The Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Ather Minallah grants bail to PTI leader Dr Shahbaz Gill in sedition case. The IHC orders to release him on the surety bonds of Rs 0.5 million. The Islamabad police arrested Shahbaz gill for making a provocative statement in a talk show on ARY news channel last month. 
The CJ of IHC said during the hearing that no body can be denied the right of bail just on charges without having solid evidence. The PTI has repeatedly accused the police for torturing the Shahbaz Gill in the custody. The allegations of torture was denied by the Islamabad police.  

PTI Chairman Imran Khan's chief of staff Gill has been in detention since last month when he was arrested after a treason case was filed against him for inciting mutiny within the Pakistan Army through his remarks during a private TV channel show.

The politician nominated Kohsar Police Station SHO, City Magistrate Ghulam Murtaza and others as parties in the plea, stating that he was arrested by Kohsar police on August 9.
