The president appointed Babar Bharwana  from Punjab and Justice (r) Ikramullah Khan from KP

The president of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi approved the appointment of two members of Election Commission of Pakistan from Punjab and KP. The president approved the appointments on the advice of PM Shahbaz Shabaz. The seats of ECP members from Punjab and KP were vacant after the completion of the tenure of previous members.
But PTI government failed to develop consensus on the new names. The matter was delayed for months. Only three members including Chief election Commissioner raja Sikandar Sultan was working. After the appointment of two members, the ECP now will work with full strength.
A parliamentary committee earlier approved the names of both members. The committee  held a meeting under the chair of Ayaz Sadiq and approved the appointment of two members of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Babar Hassan Bharwana (from Jhang district) has been appointed as ECP member from Punjab while Justice (retd) Ikram Ullah Khan (from Swat) has been appointed as member from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
