NA-245 Karachi by poll results-PTI increased its lead to more than 7,000 votes

 Mehmood Maulvi of PTI bagged 11961 votes while Moeed Anwar of MQM-P secured 4,775 votes in the results of 112 polling stations

According to unofficial results of 112 polling stations of NA-245 Karachi, Mehmood Maulvi of PTI extends its early lead to  more than 7,000 votes. Mehmood Maulvi has bagged 11961votes.The Moeed Anwar of MQM-P is trailing behind with 4775votes so far. TLP candidate Muhammad Ahmad is at third spot with 3,421 votes. Dr Farooq Sattar is at fourth position with 1186 votes so far. PSP candidate Syed Hafeezuddin just gets 382 votes so far. 

The turnout is around 10% in the constituency.  The turnout in this constituency was 37%in the 2018 general elections. It seems that PTI will be able to retain its seat in Karachi. A close contest was expected between PTI and MQM-P in this constituency. Dr Amir Liaqat Hussain won this seat in 2018 general elections on PTI ticket with more than 56,783 votes and defeated Dr Farooq Sattar of MQM-P who secured 35,427 votes.
